After reading this paper, one can hopefully see there is some benefit to the use of free software by developers and privacy experts, as it clearly tends
more to their needs, and is developed with them in mind, unlike alternative proprietary software. It is clear that it is a growing space, with
more people entering, including non technical users, only getting better for specific use cases and more generic ones even given the draw-backs previously mentioned.
